Biggest lessons of 2022

What's made the most impact

As we’re closing out the year, I wanted to share the lessons that have stuck with me the most:

  1. 9/10 times we know what it is we should be doing to get to where we want to go. Rather than distracting myself with finding new ways of doing what I’m already not doing enough of, I got better results when I shifted my focus to identifying and removing the mental blocks causing me not to do it (aka self-sabotage)

  2. A lot of things require skill more than luck. The people that appear to get “lucky” often are because they unintentionally do everything right. For a lot of us we have to be intentional about figuring out what’s right or wrong.

  3. Once I started acting like my success was inevitable, my success actually became inevitable. Went from hoping/wishing for things to happen to deciding things will happen - and things happened.

  4. Sometimes you just need the AUDACITY to go for what you want to go for. A lot of people that have achieved what you want to achieve, have mastered this unshakeable boldness.

  5. Personal-development and self-growth is great…clearly I’m a fan of bettering oneself and constantly learning and improving. It’s a fine line though. Putting your goals on a pedestal blocks your manifestation and the idea of “becoming a new you” can coincide with not seeing the current you as worthy. I had to learn to tread carefully and always question the intention behind why I was doing things - out of love or despise for myself?

Thanks for rocking with me this year - this newsletter has grown more than I imagined!! Hope to bring more value in 2023 - Happy New Year!!! ❤️❤️❤️
