‘Aha’ moments of the week:

Every week I’ll drop 3 things I’ve learned and an action that can be applied to it so that you can commit to implement at least one this coming week. I’m a massive fan of action and accountability and aim for this newsletter to be that for you.

1.) Abundance mindset vs scarcity mindset is something I hear being chucked around a lot but for the first time in a long time, I had some new light shed on it through this video. This creator highlights the 5 traits of an abundance mindset: 1) Willingness to learn - be a lifelong learner and embrace mistakes 2) failing forward - not letting failure define you but using it to move forward 3) Money management skills - money can only be an incredible tool if managed properly 4) Don’t base your life off statistics - trying things even when the odds are apparently low 5) Believe things will always work out - this makes you more comfortable with risk. Your first instinct is probably to think about the things listed that you’re not doing, but what stood out to me were the things I was doing right. This is how you identify your unfair advantage in the world.

ACTION: Identify and leverage your unfair advantage. Decide how you can apply it to each area of your life you’ve set a goal in e.g. I naturally have a willingness to learn so I’ll carve out more time for focussed study time.

2.) You may not be a fitness freak or guru, but I think most of us would like to improve in this area to some extent (at varying degrees of priority). This is why customised plans are great, because we all have different needs and goals.

ACTION: Get a custom meal and fitness plan using chatGPT. Watch this video and use these prompts to get something tailored for you.

3.) Freedom is another word we hear thrown about aimlessly, especially if you’re into self-improvement content. A harsh realisation I’ve had over the last few years is realising that a prerequisite to achieving financial, time and location freedom is having freedom from caring what other people think about you. So much of how much money we make is tied to having the audacity, but it’s hard to have the audacity when every one of your life choices is based on how people perceive you for making that decision.

ACTION: If you’re a chronic people pleaser, for the next 30 days any decision you make that only affects you and your life, don’t tell anyone beforehand. Just do it. As people-pleasers, we subconsciously tell other people our ideas because we’re looking for their approval. This challenge is a great way to start you on your journey of breaking that habit.

Resource spotlight

Each week, I’ll handpick a valuable gem(s) - a book, video, tool, or any other valuable resource - that I think is not commonly known (I’m also the queen of finding unearthed gems) but will truly educate, inspire or help you in your journey in some way.

Aiforwork.co - Get complex, job-specific ChatGPT prompts. It’s completely free.

Answersocrates.com - The slightly uglier but just as useful free alternative for Answerthepublic.com, which you may have used of or heard in the past. Use either of these tools to find out what specific questions people are asking about a particular topic. Great for market research and content creation.

If you liked this newsletter, please share it with someone you know would find this sort of stuff useful :)
