I don't know who this is for

Why New Year starts now

I had two recent epiphanies about the conventional way we set goals.

It was my birthday last week (🥳) and I thought to myself, why is that we set new year resolutions on a calendar new year, but not when we turn a new age? I mean maybe you do, but I’ve never done it with the same level of intention and attention as I do on Jan 1st. I did it for the first time this year and not only did it feel different, but genuinely I got a floodgate of blessings the very next day (not an exaggeration). Might be one to consider on your next birthday?

The other reason why this is so timely, is because we’re coming to the end of the calendar year also and I believe the perfect way to guarantee a strong 2023 is to have a powerful end to 2022. This time 3 years ago I had the random idea to start my business, powered through with executing on the idea and got everything set up and ready to go in 3 weeks. Even though I didn’t know this would be the business to change my life, even creating that win meant I started off (and continued through) the next year with momentum. Creating momentum is all we ever need.

I was having this conversation just yesterday with a friend - all it ever comes down to is building trust with yourself. Building trust that you’re a person of your word, that you do what you say you’ll do and that you’re capable of showing up for yourself to make things happen. Once you trust yourself, you’re unstoppable. But you have to give yourself a chance to build that trust with yourself, by stepping out on faith even if you’re sceptical..

I say all that to say, this could be the perfect time to start your new year and ensure you enter 2023 with the momentum required to bring your goals and visions to life. I’m rooting for you. If you don’t believe in yourself, then borrow my belief in you :)

Next video will be up on Sunday and it’s completely unrelated to the topic of this email btw 😂 Just wanted to get this off my chest.

Have a blessed rest of week,

Peace x

P.S - Sunday’s video is an update on life after quitting corporate - officially been 6 months since my last day (eek!)
