These free tools have been a lifesaver for me recently

Happy Sunday! (and bank holiday weekend if you’re in the UK). Just wanted to quickly share some new tools I’ve found recently that I’ve been loving - and they’re all free:

Tinywow - literally a file format fairy godmother. You know when you need a file in a different format, for example turning a video into a GIF or PDF to excel, you can do it all on this site. It also allows you to make other amendments to files, such as merging, compressing, extracting text, blurring background etc

Openlibrary - Am I late or did you know the internet has a library? Has a range of millions of ebooks, in a range of genres and you can borrow up to 10 books at a time for free!!

Tailwind - Pinterest was one of my main organic traffic drivers for my e-commerce business last year (at it’s peak our Tiktok page was getting 2 million+ monthly views!) - but I took my foot off the gas as I became indulged by paid ads 😅. I’ve decided to get consistent on it again, which for Pinterest’s standards will require daily pinning. That is EFFORT, so coming across Tailwind which has a Pinterest scheduling tool, was a very welcome find.

Captionplus - Coming up with captions for Instagram, really isn’t my forte. So now I can use Captionplus to do it for me :) It has a bunch of captions to pick from, organised by niche/category/mood.

Hemingway - I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - copywriting is probably THE most slept on high-income skill there is. And part of being a good copywriter is being able to convey meaning and emotion, in as concise and clear a manner as possible. Hemingway allows you to plug in text and it highlights the parts that are unclear, or waffle. Thank me later! Very useful for writing emails, product descriptions, pitches etc

Hope these are useful to you too and that you have a blessed weekend.

Until next time,

Peace x
