CONTENT DECODER

This reel shows us how to get shares with a quarterly goal framework:

Background info:

  • Creator: @inspiredmediaco

  • Content type - “Time-boxed goal-setting”

  • Views & engagement at time of writing -151k views, 11.7k likes and 4.8k shares

Visual appeal:

Simple talking to the camera style is used - VERY easy to replicate (that’s how we do)

  • Casual filming style: Talking to the camera/facetime style

  • Example on-screen: Screenshots are included throughout to demonstrate how the framework looks

Why the script works:

  • The hook: “Somebody told me you are in need of a little bit of a rebrand…” This hook works for many reasons: a) it directly speaks to the audience, making them feel seen and personally addressed b) Rebranding is a buzzword that speaks to ambitious individuals looking to level up c) the second part of the hook “…something I learned from being in the room with other multi six figure business owners to millionaires…” creates credibility AND intrigue

  • Actionable framework: People love frameworks. This creator gives a concrete, step-by-step breakdown that viewers can immediately apply, branded under the catchy, memorable formula “be delusional with the goals, but strategic with the process”

  • The content is personal branded - This creator’s niche is all about personal branding and she speaks a lot about making content “you-coded”. Adding those little touches, whether that’s slogans, phrases or visual elements, that make the content you. She often does this by dropping the term “it-girl” here and there, and she does it in this reel too. (Making “me-coded” content is what I’m working on most - especially as I’ve just started building from scratch on IG!)

How you can implement this:

  • Create a quarterly challenge: Everyone is talking about 75 hard, or the winter arc - what’s the end of year push you can use for your niche and how can you make it digestible?

  • Find your personal brand phrases: Your personal brand is all about who you are and what you’re known for. The words you use and the way you speak contributes to this - what are some phrases you can add to your backlog to sprinkle across your video scripts?

How to get ChatGPT to actually give good content ideas

So someone sent me this ChatGPT prompt to try and it ACTUALLY gave good results (I’m yet to film them but will feed back the results once I do).

Disclaimer: I didn’t make this up and if I knew the source I’d credit them. But s/o to the source.

Here’s the prompt:

Act like an instagram expert. I'm looking to create engaging reels that resonate with my ideal client and make them feel seen. I want to grow my account and reach new followers. My goal is to help [IDEAL CLIENT} do [CLIENT’S MAIN DESIRE]. Make a list of content in table format for my content pillars. My content pillars are [PILLAR 1], [PILLAR 2], [PILLAR 3]. For each topic identify at least 10 ideas of the following: mistakes they make; myths they believe; frequently asked questions; limiting beliefs they have; challenges they face; desired outcomes.

Try it and let me know if you found it useful as well.

That’s a wrap! See you next Wednesday.

— Peace ✌🏾
